The new AZ Delta hospital opened three years ago, but only now are solar panels being installed to green the electricity.
In collaboration with the Flemish Energy Company, they are installing more than 750 solar panels. They generate more than 350 megawatt hours, which is entirely used by the hospital itself. This also means a reduction of approximately 2,000 tons of C02 over 25 years, says AZ Delta.
