Hans Klok thinks Gerard Joling Joling’s real -life soap is more authentic than that of Gordon. He believes that there is also a substantive difference. “There were also weak episodes in Goor.”
The RTL 4 soap about the life of Gerard Joling is a big viewing figure hit, while he scored quite leaners on SBS 6 about Gordon. And where Geer’s praised was praised, there was an incredible amount of criticism on that of Goor. He naturally provoked that criticism himself, because Goor used that program more to bash his critics continuously.
Weak episodes
What does Hans Klok think? He thinks Gerard Top’s soap, although he also watched that of Gordon. “It wasn’t as funny as Gerards Soap, but it is great how he manages to set up such a catering business,” he says in the Weekend.
He continues: “There were weak episodes in between, as a friend comes to visit. That feels very much staged. But I looked at it with pleasure. I also don’t understand why those two can’t go through a door anymore. You would say that time heals all the wounds.”
Scene
Hans also finds the Geer series more authentic. According to him, that soap is not staged. “No, because his life is fascinating enough. I think it is smart that they have taken a few characters without looking like it. Such as HorecaVrouw Francis, everyone in Amsterdam knows her.”
“His brother, who can sing much better than Gerard. And then you still have neighbor Angelique – who will soon be handed out at the household fair, haha!”
Unsuccessful
Hans once tried to bring Geer and Goor together again. “Yes, but I did not succeed. If one of the parties resolutely rejects, it makes no sense to approach the other.”
“By the way, I think that if you put them together in a room with a bottle of wine, which is talking about in five minutes. It is often the drop that makes the bucket overflow, instead of knowing what it was about.”
