Fischer achieves the best World Cup result

With a total of four riders and one rider, Snowboard Germany made it through the qualification at the last World Cup before the Olympic Winter Games in Beijing (February 4th to 20th).

Jana Fischer drove to the small final. The 2019 Junior World Champion achieved her best placing in the World Cup with sixth place. Victory in the women’s race went to Italy’s Michela Moioli. The local hero won ahead of France’s Chloe Trespeuch and Great Britain’s Charlotte Banks.

For the other German drivers, on the other hand, it was the end of the line after just one run. Two-time World Cup winner Paul Berg, Umito Kirchwehm, who finished on the podium in Montafon, Austria, in mid-December, and Leon Beckhaus all finished third in their round of 16.
