Over the past day, about 29 thousand kilometers of roads were cleared of snow in the Moscow region. Almost two and a half thousand units of road equipment and about four thousand workers are involved.
The capital’s communal services are also busy liquidating effects of cyclones. During the night in Moscow, the height of snowdrifts grew by several centimeters and reached almost half a meter – this is a record for this winter.
Work is being carried out on all fronts – snow is removed from the roofs by hand, and in the yards – with the help of small equipment. Forecasters, meanwhile, predict increased snowfall, reports TV channel “Russia 1”. All the details and video are on the media platform “Looking”.
