Croatia’s football star Luka Modrić already has shares in Swansea City, now he gets prominent society.
Snoop Dogg is now also a football entrepreneur. The US rapper gets into a co-owner and investor at the Swansea City football club from Wales.
The 53-year-old became a minority shareholder, the association said without naming a sum for the transaction. Snoop Dogg surprisingly presented the home jersey of the second division club for the new season last Saturday.
“My love for football is well known,” the musician was quoted in the statement of the club. The history of the club and the area had touched him. “This is a proud workers ‘city and a proud workers’ association. An outsider who beats back, just like me.” He would do anything to help the club.
Croatian football star Luka Modrić is one of the co -owners of the club. The 39-year-old switched to AC Milan at Real Madrid this week after successful years. Swansea City was taken over by two US business people last year.
