At the Eindhoven Airport airbase, the fire brigade was pulled out on Monday afternoon for a military plane where smoke came out. The brakes of the device were too hot while landing. The staff of the airbase ultimately got the situation under control.
“There was a handful of soldiers who had just practiced in the region,” reports a spokesperson for the airbase. “Nobody was injured in the incident.”
The device was already on the ground when the problems arose and the smoke came from the plane. The staff waited for a while until the brakes had cooled again. The fire brigade did not have to do anything in the end.
The other air traffic at Eindhoven Airport has not been bothered by the incident.
