SM league jumbo team Vaasan Sport and goalkeeper Miroslav Svoboda have canceled the contract by mutual agreement, the Vaasa club says on their website.
The current season was the 30-year-old Czech guard’s third in the Eagles jersey. He managed to play only two matches this season due to injury.
– Sport and Miroslav Svoboda have mutually terminated the goalkeeper’s player contract. Sport thanks Svoboda for the work he has done for Sport over the past 2.5 seasons and wishes him all the best for the future! the club’s press release says.
Sport is stuck at the tail end of the SM league. In 28 regular season matches, the team has collected 26 series points.
Earlier this week, Sport announced that the conker head coach, who took over the coaching responsibility in the middle of the season Doug Shedden leaves the club.
