Slightly injured after collision with police car in Waregem

A police squad and a semi-anonymous car were on their way to a brawl. On the Zuiderlaan in Waregem, a woman of around 70 years of age drives her car from the Nokerseweg into the second police vehicle.

Minor injuries

The woman was taken to hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the police car was not injured, two occupants were taken to hospital for observation with minor injuries. The damage to both vehicles is extensive.

It is not yet clear exactly how the accident happened. That will have to be determined by the investigation. Police zone Gavers makes the findings out of objectivity.
