Skriniar makes it official: “Next year at PSG. Inter? I played on one leg”

The Slovak spoke during the national team training camp: “I should have had surgery earlier. Now I’m fine, I’ve trained a lot and, if the coach wants, I can play”

Milan Skriniar speaks again. In training with the national team, the Slovakian defender spoke about the season that ended and also about the next one, making official the transfer to PSG that had been “certain” for some time now. “We’ll see what happens to PSG – he underlined -, but the important thing is that I’m fine. I had a major injury and I tried to make up for lost time by training even when the team (Inter, ed) was resting. Now I I feel good, but you can’t find the rhythm of the game without playing. If the coach decides to deploy me, I’ll help the team because I feel ready and determined.”

CALVARY AND REGRETS

Skriniar then talked about his ordeal, lumboglutalgia, trying to recover without surgery and finally surgery. He played his last match for Inter on 14 March, in the second leg of the round of 16 against Porto, then he was only a spectator, between the TV, the grandstand and the bench: “In the second leg against Porto, I played the final minutes on one leg (and with an infiltration, ed) because it was impossible to do more. I would have liked to be on the pitch from the start, but it was impossible and I would have risked a more serious injury. Now I’m fine because the operation he got back on his feet. The only thing I regret is not having decided to do it sooner. The French doctors who performed the surgery in Bordeaux were very good and five weeks later, I was already training.”

CHAMPIONS BITTERNESS

Final on the Cup vanished in Istanbul: “Unfortunately it was a sad farewell to Inter and this defeat will disturb us for a long time. We were close to winning the trophy, we offered an excellent performance against City and we deserved more. proud of what we did during the final”.
