Just a month ago, Stephanie Venier proudly presented her baby bump, now the child is here. The 32-year-old has become a mother.
A special year for Stephanie Venier: First the World Championship title in Super-G, then the end of her career – and now the start of a new chapter in her life. The 31-year-old gave birth to a baby before the New Year. The birth was on December 14th.
“Hello world!”, with these two words Venier shared the news of her motherhood. The former Austrian ski racer became a mother shortly before her 32nd birthday (December 19th).
Venier and her husband Christian Walder, who used to compete in the Ski World Cup, got married in the summer. Now they have become parents. Walder also posted a photo of the newborn under the Christmas tree.
“This year our hearts received the most beautiful gift,” the two wrote in the joint posting. Numerous congratulations poured in from the ski and sports community.
