Shock picture: Ski superstar shows your operated leg

After winning the overall World Cup, Federica Brignone injured himself at the Italian championships. Now she showed a picture of her damaged leg.
Federica Brignone published a picture of her injury eleven days after her severe fall – and that has it all. On the Instagram photo of the Italian ski racer you can see a long operating scar that extends from the thigh to the side of the knee to the shin.
The 34-year-old, who won the overall World Cup in 2020, wrote to the picture that she “broke her record of stitches”, but she could have done without the last 42.
Brignone was seriously injured at the Italian championships on April 3 in Val di Fassa. In her fall, she pulled a multiple fracture of the shin leg plateaus and the fabric’s head as well as a cruciate ligament tear. In the meantime she was operated on and was able to leave the Hospital in Milan last Tuesday.
Since then she has started rehabilitation. In one post she announced: “I am already working to be at 100 % again.” When she can actually return to the slopes is open. She explained that the course of the course of physiotherapy and the reaction of her body.
“Step by step,” said Brignone. At first she wanted to be able to go again – everything else will be shown. She will definitely not be able to stand on skis in the next four to five months. And even this period is only realistic if everything goes optimally.
The time is urgent: For Brignone, the struggle for timely return begins – with a view to the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo. These start on February 6th.
