The two Germans are already leaving the Norwegian behind. Midtskogen puts the skis into the snow at 100.5 meters. Only seventh place for her.

Seyfarth is now on track and the 33-year-old sets the telemark at 115.5 meters. With the fastest distance she flies to second place.

The only Swiss woman is on the trail. With a slight updraft, Swiss Sina Arnet sailed to 100.5 meters, placing her in fourth place ahead of Kübler.

The first Frenchwoman gets green and flies to 108.5 meters. This puts Emma Chervet in third place.

Things aren’t going so well for her compatriot, Ringo Miyajima. She has to abort the jump at 95 meters and is therefore ranked fourth behind Kübler.

The Japanese Kurumi Ichinohe is now doing it better. She sets the telemark at 110 meters and with scores of 16 she takes second place with 100.7 points.

Agnes Reisch opens the competition straight away
The German Agnes Reisch will be the first starter to open the first round. Unlike the men, there are no knockout duels in the first round of the women’s competition.

The Canadian Loutitt won the qualification with 124 meters ahead of the French Pagnier and the Slovenian Kriznar. Eva Pinkelnig came fourth. Agnes Reisch took eighth place as the best German.

In the second competition of the Two Nights Tour, seven DSV jumpers qualified for the first round. In addition to Selina Freitag and Katharina Schmid, Pauline Heßler, Pia Lilian Kübler, Anna Rupprecht, Juliane Seyfahrt and Agnes Reisch also qualified for Oberstdorf.

Sina Arnet just qualified for the first round as 38th out of 40 jumpers. Emely Torazza narrowly missed making it into the top 40 in 51st place.

In addition to the best Austrian, Eva Pinkelnig, four other ÖSV athletes are also taking part in the first round in Oberstdorf. Lisa Eder, Chiara Kreuzer, Marita Kramer and Jacqueline Seifriedsberger qualified.

After Nika Prevc celebrated her second World Cup victory in Garmisch-Partenkirchen in Oberstdorf ahead of Eirin Maria Kvandal and the Canadian Abigail Strate, the Slovenian is still one of the favorites today. But the Austrian Eva Pinkelnig, who missed a few World Cup jumps at the beginning, is now one of the top candidates for victory today.
