After a successful start to the season, former tour winner Stefan Kraft took a break from the World Cup at the end of November. He doesn’t want to miss the birth of his first child. Now he is happily back.
The Austrian ski jumper Stefan Kraft has become a father for the first time. The former tour winner and multiple world champion announced this on Instagram. “Welcome to the world, our little princess. Everyone is healthy and we are overwhelmed with love,” wrote the 32-year-old.
Kraft got off to a strong start in the World Cup in the current Olympic season and even won a competition in Falun, Sweden. Shortly afterwards, the 2022 Olympic team champion announced a break from the World Cup at the end of November – he didn’t want to miss the birth of his child. Now the Austrian has reported back with the happy private customer.
It is not yet known whether Kraft will return to the World Cup for the competitions in Klingenthal, Saxony, next weekend.
