Hinzenbach (dpa) – ski jumper Juliane Seyfarth has tested positive for the corona virus. The 32-year-old explained this at the World Cup in Hinzenbach, which she will now miss.
“Unfortunately, it’s gotten me now too, but I’m fine, I have no symptoms, it’s a bit of a shame for me that I’m missing Hinzenbach and the first stop of Raw Air,” said Seyfarth.
Earlier this week, Olympic silver winner Katharina Althaus had also tested positive for the virus. Seyfarth added humorously: “I’m trying to stay positive – yes, what a pun.” A free test is not possible until the middle of next week at the earliest.
