On Thursday afternoon, March 17, the investigative department for the Tverskoy district of the Main Investigative Committee of the ICR for Moscow began checking the activities of the construction company JSC FODD, which is carrying out restoration work in Georgievsky Lane, where the State Duma car parking is located. This was told to RBC by a law enforcement source, the information was confirmed by a source familiar with the audit materials.
RBC sent inquiries to JSC “FODD” and to the Federal State Budgetary Institution “Motor Transport Combine of the Presidential Administration.
According to the investigation, an unidentified person from the management of JSC FODD organized work that did not meet safety requirements. “As a result of the collapse of scaffolding, 3 cars belonging to the motor transport plant of the Presidential Administration were damaged,” the source said.
Earlier, RBC reported that the scaffolding that collapsed on February 11 stood along the front wall of the reconstructed complex of buildings of the 19th-century urban estate of the Sushkins and Matthijsen in Georgievsky Lane.
