When the exhibition was announced last year, resistance arose within the Moluccan community. According to the opponents, the containers create a historically incorrect picture. The organization believes that the exhibition offers different perspectives. “The criticism is based on assumptions. The information in the containers is based on factual truths, using the knowledge of historians,” says project leader Ed Leatemia. “I challenge everyone to come and have a look, so that people can see for themselves that everything is correctly named.”
