The Antwerp police have seized six drones in recent weeks for which no reports or notifications had been made. Antwerp mayor Els van Doesburg (N-VA) confirmed this in the council committee after Vlaams Belang faction leader Sam Van Rooy asked a question about it. He wanted to know to what extent illegal drones – possibly from foreign powers – would be deployed over Antwerp. “Knocking down a drone is always the very last step.”
