Simon was the one who decided in 2022 to pull the plug out of the duo. After the farewell concert, he noticed how serious he was mentally: “Then I just let go of everything to put things in a row. And then I actually found out that a lot had to be listed. And that has been a wonderful process.”
n That period, Keizer owed a lot to the freedom he received from his wife Annemarie. “That is the best thing she gave me. That I got the space. I became a very nice person. I was not a terrible person on the front, but I am so comfortable in my skin now.”

Where Nick Schilder is completely busy with music, Simon Keizer is working on a career on television. He will make a music program for AVROTROS this fall that he cannot say too much about, except that he is already ‘very proud’ of it.
According to the 41-year-old singer it is not a ‘comeback’. “I make music, whether it is on radio or on TV or for others. I am especially happy that I can do it. I am in a very nice place at the moment.”
