Musician and actor Silu Seppälä has been laid to rest today. This is evident from a Facebook post made to the Sleepy Sleepers fan group.
Seppälä played bass in the band.
– Warm condolences and memories to loved ones. For our part, we make sure that Silu’s memory is respected and maintained here in our group by all Sleepy fans. Silu and bass always ring in our minds, the group’s administrator writes in the comment field of the publication.

Silu Seppälä died in September at the age of 71. He is best remembered for the Leningrad Cowboys – band, which was the predecessor of Sleepy Sleepers, and several of Kaurismäki’s films.
In addition to the Leningrad Cowboys and Sleepy Sleepers, Seppälä played in Lapinlahti’s birds, among others. He also composed music.
