The Verdiblanco team wants to be well positioned in case the Blaugrana club decides to find a destination for it

The Moroccan international is taking advantage of his loan to Osasuna

The good season that Abde is completing in Osasuna is not going unnoticed. With three months to go until the end of the season and, by extension, his profitable transfer to the rojillo team, there are not a few teams that have already been interested in learning about Barça’s intentions with respect to the Moroccan winger.

Abde’s characteristics are well liked in the Premier League, where he has captured the attention of Wolwerhampton, Nottingham Forest and Chelsea. But also in the League the list of suitors is extensive. Osasuna, who would be delighted to extend his loan for another season, was joined by Atlético. And now it’s Betis who wants to enter into negotiations with the Blaugrana club to try to ensure a preferential option in summer.

It is not the first time that Betis has thought of the Moroccan international to reinforce its line of attack, but interest will intensify if Ramon Planas ends up becoming the new sports director replacing Antonio Cordón, who at the end of February agreed to leave the Verdiblanca entity.

In his stage as technical secretary of FC Barcelona, Planas was the architect of the signing of Abde, for which the Blaugrana club paid two million to Hercules. And now it would be one of his bets for Betis, which has among its priorities the incorporation of an unbalanced winger in the 1×1. And Abde, of that, is plenty.

Barça is very happy with the progress shown by Abde, to the point that they are considering finding a place for him in the first team. The difficulties of the Barcelona entity to comply with the financial fair play required by LaLiga play in favor of this bet, which was already decided in the summer when he categorically refused to include a purchase option in his loan contract to Osasuna.

Betis wants to be well positioned in case Barça decides not to have the services of the Moroccan international. And his purpose is to get Barça to keep him informed of their intentions and possible market options related to the footballer.

Abde has taken a step forward after the World Cup in Qatar and has ended up earning a place in Jagoba Arrasate’s lineups.
