Top favorite Michael van Gerwen meets Michael Smith in the final of the 2023 Darts World Cup on Tuesday (9 p.m. CET/Sport1 and DAZN).
The Dutchman celebrated a “white wash” 6-0 in his semi-final against Dimitri van den Bergh and didn’t give the Belgian a chance.
“I’m happy about the win and above all about the way it was done. That really gave me a boost,” said van Gerwen on “DAZN”.
The three-time world champion not only wore down van den Bergh with an incredible scoring, but also with one or the other mind game. Overall, the “Dreammaker” only won four legs.
