In the Hoofdstraat in Hoogeveen, an armed man committed a shop robbery tonight. The man threatened staff and made off with an undisclosed amount of loot.
Just before closing time, just before 9 p.m., the man walked into The Athlete’s Foot. The robber has not yet been caught. According to the police, he may have fled in the direction of Bilderdijkplein, among other things a police helicopter is being used to search for the man.
