A police spokesperson says that the report about the shooting incident came in around 5:35 p.m. Both police and Marechaussee units went to Texelstroomlaan, on the southwest side of the city.
A large part of the street has been cordoned off and an investigation is still underway. It is therefore still unknown what exactly happened in the street.
Police are looking for the injured
In the meantime, the police are using a helicopter to look for possible people involved and injured people. No one was found at the location where the shooting incident took place. The spokesperson emphasizes that injured people who fled the scene of the incident should seek medical help as soon as possible.
