Shoigu demanded from the UK to explain the special forces in Ukraine

Shoigu accused the UK of “stuffing” Ukraine with weapons and asked when the British special forces would leave the country. The newspaper Mirror reported on the dispatch of military specialists.

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, at talks with his British counterpart Ben Wallace in Moscow, asked him to explain why the UK is supplying weapons to Ukraine and sending special forces there, reports TASS.

“For our part, we would like to offer to also contribute to reducing this tension and stopping the supply of weapons to Ukraine. From all sides it comes, it is done publicly. This is done in a spectacular way. It’s not entirely clear why. I would also like to understand why Britain, the kingdom, sent its special forces to Ukraine, and how long will it stay there?” Shoigu said.

Shoigu noted at the meeting that this is the first meeting of the heads of the military departments of the two countries in recent years. “Unfortunately, the level of our cooperation is close to zero and is about to cross the zero meridian and go negative. Which I really don’t want. Therefore, I look forward to the opportunity to discuss the most pressing issues with you. Without any forcing and raising the temperature even higher in relations between Russia and the countries of the NATO bloc,” Shoigu said.

The head of the Ministry of Defense noted that before the meeting he carefully read the speeches of his British counterpart and other British politicians, and noted that they constantly talk about sanctions. “I would not want our conversation today to be a continuation of this kind of interview,” Shoigu concluded.
