Dutch fashion retailer Shoeby has opened its first store in Germany, the company said in a post on LinkedIn. Earlier this year, the retailer announced its expansion plans.

The first shop was opened in Rheine. The second German store is already in the starting blocks and will open its doors on October 5th in Bocholt.

Through its presence on marketplaces like Zalando, Shoeby has seen that customers from Germany are already ordering from the brand. The retailer then decided to expand the offer to Germany. How many stores are planned exactly is not known at the moment. In the Netherlands, Shoeby has 240 stores, its own online shop and is represented on several marketplaces. In June, Shoeby’s Sophie Duijts told Emerce Retail that Scandinavia is also seen as an interesting market.
