Spain Coach Luis de la Fuente was angry with the decision made in the last minutes of the match. The home team’s goal, which scored after the counter attack, was canceled due to offside. Reacting to the decision, Fuente objected to the referee after the match and did not shake the hand of the assistant referee who wanted to shake his hand.
While this move of Luis de la Fuente was also on the agenda in Spain, he was asked at the press conference why he did not shake the assistant referee’s hand. Fuente responded, “I didn’t notice. I walked past him, I was focused on the players, I said hello to another player and I didn’t notice.” he said.
