Shinyakozuka tells the story of a lost glove and transforms the Florentine runway into a winter landscape.

The ground is covered in artificial snow, and the looks of the Japanese guest designer at the Pitti Uomo men’s fashion fair also seem to be inspired by a snow flurry. Prints, patterns and even applications such as multiplied buttons on various pieces are reminiscent of the solid, white precipitation. On denim, white shoe prints continue the impression of having just trudged through deep snow.

When it comes to colors, in addition to white, the designer primarily uses black, blue and gray.

Gloves appear as a key accessory in winter outerwear and the Japanese outerwear-influenced collection. They are presented both as large hand warmers with fur trim and as light styling versions. The concept is rounded off by a glove that a model “loses” and is left alone in the snow while other models pass by.
