Rachel Hazes desperately needs a good makeup artist, because ‘a lot goes wrong’ with her facial make-up. Couturier Paul Schulten hands out that sneer to her in Story magazine.
The bright red outfit (see photo below) with which Rachel Hazes appeared at the premiere of the Hazes musical is still somewhat to the taste of couturier Paul Schulten. He thinks it is high time that the teased Rachel does something about her make-up, because he thinks it really doesn’t look like it.
Good makeup artist
In particular, Paul points to Rachel’s eye makeup. That, he says, is a real train disaster. “Unfortunately, a lot goes wrong here. She has beautiful eyes, but this makeup is really too coarse and heavy. Doing your eyes like this actually makes them look smaller,” he says in his relentless column in the Story.
Rachel has to dress up like women her age do, Paul snaps. “After your fifties, you shouldn’t do such a hard line in the arcade arc anymore. The eyebrows are also too messy for me and the lipstick is too matte. I would advise Rachel to get advice from a good makeup artist.”

Rachel’s hair color is also awful, says Paul. “The medium-length hair is well styled and looks neat. But a softer, lighter color would have been better. This is such a harsh shade. She is now hurting herself. What a waste.”
Finally, according to him, Rachel should cut back on all that ordinary jewelry. “She wears a whopper of a white gold ring with diamonds, which I think could have been a little smaller.”
