The years are starting to count for Sylvie Meis. The society star is already 47 years old and at some point she cannot avoid wrinkles. There comes a time when even Instagram filters can no longer disguise the aging, and according to Privé boss Evert Santegoeds, she visibly has difficulty with that. In fact, he thinks she’s going crazy.
‘Sylvie just like Marijke!’
Evert has put a photo of Sylvie on the cover of Privé, taken at the Vienna Awards in Austria. It concerns this photowhich was also shot from a very bad perspective.
The magazine maker says in the podcast Strictly Private: “We have photos of Sylvie in the magazine that make you think: child, what have you done? She looks like Marijke Helwegen. Really, well, she can no longer maintain that she has never had anything done to her face. She has and those photos are really shocking, you could say. She really becomes a bit cat-like.”
Beyond botox
According to Evert, Sylvie’s face is changing beyond recognition. “I think it goes further than botox. She is now over 40, of course, so some things start to hang and yes, I think she just couldn’t resist the temptation to try something out every now and then.”
