MKE Ankaragücü Club apologized to the sports community for the events that occurred after their match against Çaykur Rizespor.
In the statement made by the club, “As MKE Ankaragücü Club, we are saddened by the incident that occurred this evening. We apologize to the Turkish football public and the entire sports community for the sad incident that occurred after the Çaykur Rizespor match at Eryaman Stadium.” It was said.
MKE Ankaragücü President Faruk Koca punched referee Halil Umut Meler on the field after the match ended 1-1.
