Share purchases by major shareholder and supervisory board chairman Wilhelm Beier gave the Dermapharm share price momentum on Monday.

At its peak, this rose by 4.4 percent to 35.65 euros and to its highest level since mid-June. Most recently, the markup via XETRA was 2.49 percent to 35.00 euros. This continued the upward trend that began on Wednesday last week.

According to a voting rights announcement on Monday, Beier acquired shares for 36.25 million euros over the counter. The price was 33.565 euros per share. Beier and his family hold the majority of the company’s shares through Themis Beteiligungs AG. According to Bloomberg information, Themis recently had a good 77 percent of Dermapharm shares./bek/mis
