Paris/London/Zurich (dpa -AfX) – Europe’s stock exchanges did not find a common direction on Wednesday. The EuroStoxx 50 continued its upward trend despite temporarily losses. In accordance with the friendly US markets, the Eurozone-Leitindex posted an increase of 0.41 percent to 5,507.36 points at the end of the trade-it was the fourth day of winning in a row. In Paris, too, things went uphill.

In contrast, the British FTSE 100 hardly came from the spot and closed with 8,706.66 points. The Slethargian Smi, who had already dropped by 0.16 percent, to 13,040.92 points./GL/MIS
