BRUNNTHAL (dpa-AFX) – The fuel cell specialist SFC Energy has increased its forecasts for 2026 after a record order. The group announced on Tuesday that group sales are now expected to grow to between 163 and 175 million euros for the current year. Adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (Ebitda) are expected to climb to 29 to 34 million euros. So far, only 20 to 24 million were planned here with an expected turnover of 150 to 160 million. The share turned positive and was up six percent at the close of Xetra trading.
SFC had received the largest order in the company’s history for the delivery of fuel cell systems to Ukraine with an order volume of around 42.7 million euros, it said. The financing comes as part of the federal government’s training initiative. Delivery is planned for the coming months and will affect sales and earnings in 2026. Highly mobile fuel cell systems as well as associated peripherals, accessories and consumables for military and civil application scenarios are to be delivered./jha/he
