FRANKFURT (dpa-AFX) – The euro fell on Tuesday. The European Central Bank set the reference rate at 1.1738 (Monday: 1.1765) US dollars. The dollar therefore cost 0.8519 (0.8499) euros.
For other important currencies, the ECB set the reference rates for one euro at 0.86803 (0.86488) British pounds, 184.98 (184.87) Japanese yen and 0.9172 (0.9163) Swiss francs./yyzz/DP/jsl
