Colombian authorities say they have rescued 17 minors from members of Lev Tahor, an ultra-Orthodox Jewish sect suspected of child sexual abuse. “We rescued 17 boys, girls and teenagers,” the country’s immigration authorities wrote on X, with photos of some of the children, their faces blurred or obscured.
