A car occupant was seriously injured on Thursday afternoon in a collision with a tree on the N289 near Woensdrecht. The car was severely damaged.
The fire brigade, police and an ambulance arrived on the scene. An air ambulance also landed at the scene of the accident.
It is not yet clear what exactly happened. The police are investigating.
