Around 1.30 pm the report of the collision arrived at the emergency services. According to a police spokesperson, the car drove on a main road and the engine came from the right.
The engine ended up in a ditch under the car. Both singers from the motorcycle were taken to the hospital, one of them had to be transported with a trauma helicopter. How they are doing is not known at the moment.
The suspect, the driver of the car, is a 38-year-old woman from Texel. She is suspected of potentially serious injury and is being interrogated. What exactly happened is not yet clear. Team Forensic Investigation Traffic is currently investigating this.
“The car probably did not give the engine priority, but that is still being investigated,” said the spokesperson.
