Swedish fashion and beauty influencer Matilda Djerf is accused of workplace bullying, reports Aftonbladet.
The magazine has interviewed current and former employees of Djerfi, who make strong claims about the activities of the fashion influencer. His company Djerf Avenue was founded in 2019.
Some of the company’s employees have found the work atmosphere scary. One employee claims in an interview with Aftonbladet that Djerf would have lined up his employees and shouted at them how bad they are at their jobs.
– People are feeling really bad. I have never seen so many people so broken. Eventually, it became commonplace to think about how many people cried yesterday. How many are crying today. Am I crying myself today, the ex-employee tells Aftonbladet.
The employees claim to the newspaper that the social media influencer has had his own toilet, which no one but him and his “favorite” has been allowed to use. There has been a note on the door of the toilet, prohibiting the use of the toilet.
The fashion influencer has apologized for his behavior for Aftonbladet. However, he says in his answer that he does not recognize himself from all the claims made.
– If any employee has felt badly treated or felt bad in their role because of my actions, I am really sorry and I apologize, Djerf commented to the newspaper.
The company’s operational manager Pernilla Bonny has also taken a stand on the uproar.
– We consider what has emerged to be very serious. It is important for us to create a work environment where all employees are comfortable, feel safe and treated fairly, Bonny answered.
