Two cars collided on the N371 near Hoogersmilde this morning.
Several emergency services responded urgently, including the police, fire brigade, ambulance and trauma helicopter. One person has been taken to hospital.
Traffic is being disrupted because the road is closed. The police are investigating the cause of the accident.
