Novara draws, Pineto holds, Monopoli blow to Casarano
There are eight matches on the Saturday programme, with the 12th matchday which will get underway on Sunday 2 November (16 matches from all three groups, with two league leaders involved). Here’s what happened in the meantime.

In group A, Trento beat Virtus Verona and consolidated their place in the playoff zone with the seventh useful result in a row. With Da Graca’s goal as time expired, Novara reached Pergolettese and thus found their ninth draw of the season (while Pergo hadn’t won for eight days).

In group B, Arezzo makes its voice heard by giving Campobasso a top five (doubles by Cianci and Pattarello) and extending their lead for one night to +4 over Ravenna and Ascoli, who will compete in Romagna in the big match on Sunday. Tie between Pineto and Pianese, while Bra moves on to Rimini where their hopes of survival diminish and the most important match is still played off the pitch (if no new buyers arrive, the club is doomed to bankruptcy).

In group C, thanks to the brace of the substitute Volpe, Monopoli overturns Casarano climbing to fourth place with the third victory in a row (there are also three consecutive knockouts for Vito Di Bari’s team). Atalanta U23 also scores consecutive victories as they pass with authority onto the pitch of a Cerignola team in crisis: another brace for Vavassori, in a match that changes face after 17′ when Cuppone gets a straight red for a bad challenge on Riccio. After half an hour of the second half, the back and forth with which Altamura responded to Cosenza. In the Friday advance matches, double 2-2 in Casertana-Catania and Picerno-Cavese.
