Serie A, referees: the appointments for matchday 5. The Milan-Inter derby in Chiffi

The fourth day of Serie A, midweek, has not yet finished and the head can already be moved to the next round. The main reason is that there are three big matches, all on Saturday, for which The Hague has already identified the refereeing teams. For Fiorentina-Juventus, Milan-Inter and Lazio-Napoli the match directors and various assistants are already known. Daniele Chiffi will be in charge of refereeing the Milan derby, Simone Sozza will close the day at the Olimpico stadium and Daniele Doveri will inaugurate it at the Artemio Franchi in Florence.

The match directors assigned to the Var are also official: Aureliano for Fiorentina-Juventus, Di Paolo for Milan-Inter and finally Fabbri for Lazio-Napoli. His eyes will obviously be first of all on Chiffi, at the first Milan derby as referee of his career. The 37-year-old from the Padua section, however, in October 2017 was in the Var room in the derby won 3-2 by Luciano Spalletti’s Inter, with a penalty in the 90th minute signed by Mauro Icardi.
