Amsterdam – In The Hague, a man was tried in a series of fraud cases involving the elderly in Rotterdam, Noordwijk and Alphen aan den Rijn, among others. The scammers posed as bank employees. The fraud usually started with a text message with the urgent advice to call an ’emergency line’ because of a suspicious charge.
