The forward of the Barça Sergio Martinez will undergo surgery on Thursday, October 13, for a patellar tendinopathy of the left kneeas reported on Monday by the Barça club.
In a statement, the Catalan entity added that “once the operation is completed, a new medical report will be provided.”
Martinez, 23, adds to the already known loss of power forward Nikola Miroticwho will miss the opening stretch of the season with a left Achilles tendon injury.
