Serge Gnabry will apparently be missing for weeks

FC Bayern is currently missing many regular players. Serge Gnabry has been one of them for almost two months now – and won’t be returning any time soon.

Nothing will come of a quick comeback: FC Bayern will have to be without Serge Gnabry for another three weeks. The national player, who has been missing since the beginning of December with a muscle injury, will miss more games than the record champions had initially hoped, reports “Bild”.

Because Kingsley Coman will also be out for weeks, Bayern’s offensive line-up is becoming increasingly thin. The problems that coach Thomas Tuchel has been struggling with in defense for months are now also spreading to the attack. With Mathys Tel and Leroy Sané there are actually only two options available for the offensive wing. According to “Bild”, Coman will be out for eight to ten weeks.

In defense, Tuchel currently has to make do without Min-jae Kim (Asian Cup), Noussair Mazraoui (Africa Cup), Dayot Upamecano (injury) and Konrad Laimer (injury). Joshua Kimmich was also injured at the weekend.
