Senses, injury, screams and tears – but it could just be bruising

Fear for Stefano Sensi. At the end of Monza-Verona, Palladino’s midfielder landslide hit from behind by Sulemana, his left leg twists abnormally and what you see after him makes you shiver. Sensi remains on the ground and begins to scream, then bursts into an irrepressible cry. The stretcher arrives, but then it is two Monza assistants (and Petagna) who carry him out with their arms, crying and screaming. Someone puts pressure on the injured leg and he yells “Nooo!”, “Nooo!”. Then he is put back on the ground and loaded onto the stretcher. In the heat, the injury seems serious, then the updates become much more comforting. The player is currently in hospital for tests, but it could only be a severe bruise. This is the hope, not only for the Monza fans, given the long series of injuries that have marred the career of the talented former Sassuolo and Inter midfielder.
