A driver crashed into a tree this morning on the Westernbos in Schoonebeek. A neighbor rushed to help and took care of the two occupants and the damaged car by removing the car from the street with a shovel.
The neighbor stated that he wanted the road cleared again quickly and that they would solve these kinds of issues themselves in the Drenthe countryside. Both people were checked by ambulance personnel at the man’s home, but did not have to be taken to the hospital. The cause of the accident is still unknown.
