The limit of 19 million inhabitants in the Netherlands is expected to be passed in 2037. This is what the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) expects. There are currently more than 18 million people living in the Netherlands. The 20 million is expected to be reached in 2058. While the population is aging, the number of inhabitants in the working age groups will remain approximately the same until 2040.
