Homeowners and workers are increasingly reporting to the food bank, according to Food Banks Netherlands. The organization is concerned about the growing group of self-employed people and state pensioners in need. At the same time, the supply of food from supermarkets is decreasing. “We see a lot of shame, but it can happen to anyone.”
