The match of the Women’s Superpesis scheduled for Tuesday between Maila-Jussi in Seinäjoki and Virkää in Lapua had to be canceled due to illnesses in Maila-Jussi.
The announcement of the cancellation of the game came just eight hours before the start of the match.
Jussittaret said With an Instagram accountthat the team had no choice but to cancel the game.
– Unfortunately, this morning, up to nine of our 15 contract players are on the sidelines due to illness, it was said on Instagram.
– This is a really difficult decision for the whole club. Many strikes would have survived, but during the night the situation continued to change and resources simply weren’t enough to host tonight’s match, the game manager Juha Antikainen told Instagram.
Racket-Juss is ranked fiveth in the league table. Virkiä has played two less matches ahead of the team.
