This easy pepper tip is definitely worth trying.
Seija Lapland developed a pepper delicacy, which takes only a moment to prepare and the taste will blow your tongue away. Lappi wants to share his instructions with the readers of Iltalehti, because he believes that many will appreciate an easy and delicious sweet recipe in the midst of the Christmas rush.
– I had guests coming over and I was wondering what the hell I would offer. I was a bit busy with it, but I still wanted to make something myself and not just put ready-made peppers on offer. I then figured out to make a carrot cake frosting with vanilla cream between the peppers, and it turned out really well. I put the stuffed peppers in a container with a lid and put them in the fridge, where the peppers softened wonderfully, Lappi says.
Lappi says that he usually can’t bake peppers himself, but he prefers ready-made peppers from the store.
– However, offering them to guests can create a feeling that something better hasn’t been done here. These stuffed peppers are the answer to that too. I made a better baker with these, Lappi laughs.
He also says that he belongs to the group that likes pepper dough more than ripe peppers, because the taste of the dough has a certain intensity that cannot be resisted. A similar doughy taste is also emphasized in peppers filled with carrot cake frosting.
– The guests fell in love, and so did I. Now I have to restrain myself so that I don’t keep looking for more of these in the fridge.
The stuffed peppers are easy to decorate with icing sugar, which gives the peppers the final touch.
– These are a bit like gingerbread taken to a new level. I definitely recommend trying it.
